We want to be sustainable! This claim has accompanied PNZ-Produkte GmbH and its subsidiaries since the company was founded and is one of the driving factors in our product and company development. First and foremost are our products and the health of our customers. And so we have continued to develop our production methods and the ingredients of our products in the past. But the technical possibilities and also the idea of sustainability are subject to continuous change, which we, as a specialized niche supplier in the field of ecological wood care, have to face again and again.
These activities are particularly close to our hearts
- We are a certified B Corporation
- We are CO2 neutral including our supply chain (Scope 3)
- We have our CO2 reduction targets validated by the UN Science Based Targets Initiative
- We have been assessing ourselves against all 17 of the UN's sustainability goals (the so-called SDG) for a number of years and have also made this orientation mandatory in our company statutes
- We are actively researching with partners on new technologies for greater sustainability
- We work with partners on sustainability issues; in addition to B Corp, these include in particular UN Global Compact, New Mittelstand and Pure Water for Generations e.V.
And we regularly report on our activities and, above all, what we still want to achieve.
We consider this report (called "Communication on Progress" in official English), which we renew annually, but also in particular as a working basis for current and future further developments of our company and products. Therefore, please see this report not only as a past-related documentation of the current status, but also as a living document that addresses and describes the sustainability issues that are current for us; but also clearly identifies deficits and future work priorities and shows us measures for further development. In the interests of our customers, employees, neighbors, the environment and, of course, a better future.
