Application/Use
  • Surface has to be clean, dry and free of dust.
  • Remove contaminants (algae, grease, dirt) using an appropriate detergent.
  • Woods with a particularly high content of wood components should be weathered for about 4 weeks prior to initial treatment. Fresh, pressure-treated wood like massaranduba, garapa, ipe should be weathered for about 3 months prior to the initial treatment.
  • Treat softwood (risk of fungi) in exteriors with an appropriate impregnation primer before applying the first coat.
  • Processing temperature (including drying) above + 8 °C. Wood humidity < 18%. Air humidity < 60%.
  • Can be painted over when partially dry after approximately 12 hours.
  • Works differently depending on surface characteristics. Apply a trial coat first.
  • Adhere to rules of constructive wood preservation.
  • Stir contents well before and during use.
  • Final treatment using an appropriate transparent final coat increases abrasion resistance (especially decks).
  • If possible, apply once on all sides before assembly.
  • Apply oil thinly and evenly - avoid film formation and remove excess oil.

This product can be applied by brush, spray nozzle or roller to untreated wood. Apply thinly and collect excess oil with a cloth. The surface is ready for further treatment as soon as it is dry to the touch and no longer sticky. We recommend 2 to 3 applications. For aftercare old, intact oil coatings can generally be painted over. Old coats that aren't load bearing have to be sanded off prior to the treatment.
